Christopher Ferreri, the former Vice President of Health Care Services, is the new Chief Operating Officer at The Osborn, the private continuum of care retirement community located in Rye, New York.
Chris has overseen The Osborn Pavilion, including short-term and outpatient rehabilitation and long-term care, as well as the Assisted Living and the H.O.P.E. Center Memory Care programs since joining The Osborn in 2014.
Prior to joining The Osborn, Chris was the Vice President and Administrator of Jewish Home Lifecare’s Sarah Neuman Center in Mamaroneck. As Administrator of Sarah Neuman Center, his focus was on operational excellence, quality outcomes, resident and staff satisfaction, and community collaboration, as well as Sarah Neuman’s strategic initiatives related to new models of care.
Chris has 22 years of experience in health care management. Prior to Sarah Neuman Center, he worked at the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, NY (Nassau County), where he served in several capacities, lastly as Senior Vice President, Administration.
Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration: Health Policy and Management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. He is a Fellow of the Leading Age Leadership Academy class of 2010-11 and a current coach for the 2015-2016 class. Chris and his wife Jennifer have two children, Cara and Andrew.
