Fitch Ratings affirmed the ‘A-’ rating on the outstanding revenue bonds of the Miriam Osborn Memorial Home Association (The Osborn). This rating indicates a stable financial outlook for the organization, a non-profit continuum of care retirement community based in Rye, New York. According to Fitch’s July 24 press release, The Osborn’s 100+ year history has generated a strong market position and favorable reputation. The release noted that The Osborn has diversified beyond its unit-based sources of revenue, with its successful expansion into home health care with Osborn Home Care, as well as other service expansions into memory care and outpatient rehabilitation that are generating momentum in the marketplace.
In 2016, The Osborn established The Osborn Foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity intended to support the organization's philanthropic goals on campus and in the surrounding communities.
