The Osborn retirement community hosted The Alzheimer's Association of Hudson Valley's Margaret M. Cahn Award presentation last week. The event honored Mrs. Cahn on her 100th birthday and the Cahn family for their devotion and generous philanthropy for Alzheimer's disease research. Rutger's University's Radek Dobrowolski received the award for his ground-breaking research.
The Osborn is home to 435 residents, including those in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and both short-term and outpatient rehabilitation. Its award-winning H.O.P.E. Center for Memory Care offers 13 private rooms and a beautiful wander garden. The Osborn is a private, non-profit organization that has been a leader in residential and healthcare services for seniors for over a century. Christa Picciano-Daniello, Vice President of Sales at The Osborn, is a trustee of the Alzheimer's Association of Hudson Valley.
