The Rye Library welcomes new trustee Matthew Anderson to its board. Matthew Anderson is the President and CEO of The Osborn, a Continuum of Care Community in Rye, New York, where he has worked for over 18 years in progressively senior operating positions.
Mr. Anderson is a licensed New York State skilled nursing facility administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the Pennsylvania State University (’92) and a Masters in Business Administration from SUNY Albany (’96). He is a 2008 LeadingAge Academy Fellow, as well as a coach for LeadingAge’s 2010 and 2011 Leadership classes. On the New York State level, he serves on LeadingAgeNY’s Board of Directors.
"The Rye Free Reading Room has been a wonderful asset to my family and me over the last 18 years. It is especially valuable to the residents of The Osborn," said Mr. Anderson. "I look forward to giving back to this wonderful community resource."
The Adams Library at The Osborn is a branch of the Rye Free Reading Room and resident card holders have access to all of the resources of the Westchester Library System, including books, CDs, movies, and databases. There are three libraries on The Osborn’s 56-acre campus.
Matt is currently a member of Greenwich Hospital’s Community Advisory Committee. He loves baseball and has served on the board of Rye’s Little League as well as being an active coach. Matt lives in Rye with his wife and two sons.
