Trip to The Florence Griswold Museum

The Florence Griswold Museum is centered on the home of Florence Griswold, which was the backdrop of the Old Lyme Art Colony, a main nexus of American impressionism. The museum is noted for its collection of American Impressionist paintings. A small, modern exhibition gallery (and shop) was added to the campus 20 years ago.
A selection of American art from the collection at Princeton University is shown at The Griswold Museum. There will be an enjoyable lunch to follow at the Griswold Inn in Essex, CT.
