What do you take to stop a cough? This time of year allergies are about to kick into high gear. Colds and flu just don't want to give up! With that, the gift that keeps on giving is the dreaded cough! When you walk into a drug store in search of relief, it is hard to decipher what is what! Does that medicine even work?
The American College of Chest Physicians stated in 2017: "For adult and pediatric patients with cough due to common cold, we suggest against the use of over-the-counter cough and cold medicines until they have shown to make cough less severe or resolve sooner."
