Independent Living + Lifelong Care
in Westchester County, NY
Moving out of your current home during retirement is not an easy decision to make. The options can seem overwhelming, making it difficult to determine which choice is right for you.
The good news is that it’s not something you need to figure out on your own. In fact, that’s exactly what a Life Plan Community is for.
Here at The Osborn in Rye, NY, our senior living Life Plan Community offers residents an amenity-rich, burden-less retirement lifestyle with the security of lifelong care behind you in case of any unforeseen changes to your health or wellness. And with both independent living apartments (many with balconies or patios) and freestanding Garden Homes to choose from, you’re sure to find a place here that feels like home.
It starts right here at home.
Our lush, architecturally charming grounds give residents access to the sorts of things they need to feel at-home and secure, including:
- A comprehensive selection of on-campus services and amenities
- A well-curated schedule of events and program to stimulate the mind, body, and spirit
- Access to the full continuum of care in one place
- A spectacular 56-acre arboretum campus
- A wide assortment of technology and resources
- Staff members who not only serve the needs of our residents, but truly care about their well-being
What Does it Cost to Live Here?
- People pay two different types of fees when they move into a Life Plan Community like The Osborn. The first type is a refundable entrance fee, a sum of money paid up front to secure a place in the community. The entrance fee is often equivalent to the sale price of your home. At The Osborn, the entrance fee is 100% refundable, meaning all of the fee will be returned when a resident leaves the community.
- The second type of fee is a monthly fee, which covers the monthly expenses of living in a community, including dining, amenities, activities, indoor and outdoor maintenance, security, utilities, housekeeping, transportation and more. Residents can also move in at a higher level of care, and the financial arrangements are usually different in those cases.
