Memory Care Support Group
The Osborn Solarium
We are pleased to announce that The Osborn has created a partnership with The Alzheimer’s Association to provide a memory care support group for our resident’s families, representatives as well as those in the community who are dealing with a loved one’s dementia.
The support group will be held on campus the third Wednesday of each month at 10:30am in the Solarium and will be facilitated by Jo-Ann Pinder, Certified Dementia Practitioner and H.O.P.E. Center Supervisor. She will be joined by Rosemary Porreca, a retired nurse and community volunteer.
The group aims to provide support and assistance with navigating changes associated with cognitive decline and ways to cope as a caregiver or loved one of those with dementia, Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments.
