Standard of Excellence: CCAC Accreditation

This is a designation awarded by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC), an independent accrediting body affiliated with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

CCAC accreditation is widely regarded as the mark of quality for senior living communities and aging services providers, and is an important evaluation tool when considering your retirement options.

The Osborn earned this distinction by meeting or exceeding standards of excellence in three critical areas:

  • Resident health and wellness, including activities and services
  • Governance and administration
  • Financial strength and strategic direction

Accreditation is a rigorous voluntary process involving extensive self-evaluation by the community’s staff, residents, clients and board of directors, and on-site reviews by trained CCAC evaluators. In addition, it includes a mandatory financial review to verify solvency and long-term viability.
